Fishing licences for River Lakselva are available in middle of March.

Catch reports 2010
There is a large amount of fisherman who has not deliver the catch report.
Note, that every fisherman is committed by law to report catch. Fisherman
who has not deliver the catch report, cannot buy a new fishing license next year.
Released fish as well as "no catch" must also be reported. (Lakselv cardnr 0).
A catch report can be delivered:
- on the internet (www.laksefisk.no)
- by email to address post@lakselva.no
- via short message on a mobile phone (SMS), sending a message:

Seaplane transport from Skoganvarre

In the summertime we are able to organize a seaplane transport to:
Lake Laevnasjavri, locates 30 km west from Skoganvarre
Lake Jiesjavri, locates 60 km southwest from Skoganvarre
Lake Holmvann (Suolojavri), locates 30 km east from Skoganvarre
Maximum load 280 kg / flight.

22.1.2008. We have now purchasing a whole capital stock of Skoganvarre Turist & Camping a/s. In the near future we are possibly getting some new part-owners from Finland.

22.1.2008. At the spring 2008, we have huts in the Lake Laevnasjavri and in the Lake Nedredarvajavri. They are both equipped with a paraffin-stove, so you do not need to keep watch the fire.

Finnmark-license for an year is now available for tourists. There are for either a personal- or a family license. More information here.

River Lakselva zonemap has been renewed. New zonemap is available here.

The age limits for the inlandfishing license have changed. Under 16 or over 67-year-olds do not need to purchase a license. If you do require one, you can now pay with your credit card on the Internet. Notice that a certificate considering the disinfection of your fishing equipment is also required.

Skoganvarre Turist & Camping is able to organize your boatfishing expedition, either alone in a hired boat or in a bigger boat with a guide.

The 5 kilometer limits for the inlandfishing license have changed. Nowadays tourists can purchase a so-called "Finnmark - license", which covers ca. 96% of land in Finnmark. This license is valid for whole area. Private property is usually designated by signs.
